Description

Managers cannot electronically track and submit the periodic performance evaluations of their direct reports which makes it less likely that they are submitted timely in accordance with collective bargaining agreements. Human Resources cannot track, manage and report on periodic performance evaluations across the various collective bargaining units in PeopleSoft CMS or electronically.
We would like to utilize PeopleSoft CMS system to roll out the project in a two-phased effort. The first phase is designed to use PeopleSoft to setup the templates and tables to track performance evaluations on line for Human Resources only while staff and managers produce the performance evaluations on paper and continue to submit to HR.
The second phase would be to roll out self-service with workflow to the campus in early 2018 for the June 30th deadline of performance evaluations due from management. This would require the managers to utizlize self-service to write the performance evaluations and submit via workflow to staff, then electronic workflow through to HR for tracking and analytical data.
An objective with both phases will be the introduction of analytics related to performance evaluations, e.g. timeliness and ratings trends.
