• Payroll will be able to key all additional pay components into the PeopleSoft CMS additional pay pages. Pay components will pull into the PIP file and Payroll will be able to FTP the file to the State Controller’s Office.
• Payroll and Chancellor’s Office will be able to create queries or reports to pull the data out of the additional pay page on all applicable employees.

Description
The Chancellor’s Office has mandated that campuses must key additional pay into the PeopleSoft CMS additional pay pages and use the PIP file process to upload the payments to the State Controller’s Office. Since Sac State has not been utilizing this process, the Chancellor's Office would like all campuses to start migrating towards it now in preparation for the CHRS upgrade to minimize campus impacts.
The purpose of this project is to utilize PeopleSoft CMS Additional Pay page for keying additional pay components such as stipends, bonuses, uniform allowances, car allowances etc. Payroll for North America>Employee Pay Data USA>Create Additional Pay.
Payroll will be able to utilize the PIP file creation to pull in the pay components and amounts into a file the FTP the file directly to the State Controller’s Office for payment processing.
