Recent

  • Team met internally and discussed the work it involve to update GE courses out of Assist for top feeder colleges. Based on the review, the work is intensive and time consuming.
  • SF State created a semi-automated process to export data out of Assist and into CMS. Sac State needs clarity on how the process works in its entirety thus requested to meet with SF state. After numerous outreach attempts, SF state stated they are not able to meet with Sac state due to limited resources.
  • Sac State met with Liz Reed from the CO's office about the project they are leading to enhance the transfer course articulation process. The CO is in the development process and should have a solution to implement between July to October 2023.
    • Based on this information and the work it would require to complete this project, team has decided to put it on hold.
    • Team will be waiting until the solution offered by the CO is available to reopen it in Fall 2023.
Upcoming Tasks
  • Registrar's office to attend regular meetings with the CO to stay apprised of the progress on their project.
  • Team to reopen this project once the solution by the CO has been deployed.

Student Success Imperative
Problem / Opportunity
Briefly summarize the problem or opportunity you propose to address. Write this in terms of the organizational problem being addressed, not in terms of the solution needed.
Our current articulation tables in CMS are in need of an update. As result, the offices of Registrar and Admissions and Outreach would like to request a join effort between Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and IRT, to:
1. Create data feeds from the following systems: C-ID, TES, and Assist.
2. Identify which courses are not articulated via the three systems and work with the necessary stokeholders to update or articulate the missing courses

This problem will present the opportunity do increase TCE turnaround and accuracy and will directly impact many programs on our campus related to student success and our GI 2025
