We are routinely asked at the service desk and desktop support if we can make appointments. We also have many groups inside and outside of IRT who have expressed a need to reserve rooms and schedule appointments. Instead of developing and bringing online dozens of reservation rooms, we have an opportunity to make a common system for these kinds of customer contacts so we can have a single place for the end user to view all of their appointments and bookings.

Provide a system that can reserve people, locations, resources, seats in a workshop, that has proper domain separation, control over allowing self-service, and easy to search through for the user.
