Problem / Opportunity
Briefly summarize the problem or opportunity you propose to address. Write this in terms of the organizational problem being addressed, not in terms of the solution needed.
Major issue is the certificate for our network authentication servers will expire next September (2017). Clients will get a security pop up. Also want to rename many of the networks so they make better sense. SacGuest instead of SacLink, SacPSK instead of SacNet-A, etc.
Goals & Objectives
Objectives are specific, measurable, and timed outcomes of the project that are stated in terms of the problem solutions or opportunities users will experience.
Plan for a smooth transition to eduroam and avoid the certificate expiration issue and fix it for the future as well.

Description

This project will include the following:
Update campus wireless Design.
Removal of SacLinkSecure wireless network and move to eduroam as the campus preferred network.
Removal of SacLink for open access and move to something like CSUSGuest.
Combining of several of our legacy pre-shared key networks to just a couple.
Prepare for the expiration of our Authentication Certificate in Sep 2017 to make the transition smoother
